Control Rods: Installation
- Install control rod with adjustment cam facing down, and brake flexhose bracket facing direction shown in illustration. See Fig 1. Align cam with mating marks made during removal.
- DO NOT final tighten control rod cam or outboard nut with vehicle on hoist. Lower vehicle until suspension is at normal riding height, and then tighten fasteners. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table at end of article. Check toe-in. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in the WHEEL ALIGNMENT Section.
