Removal & Installation (Except Convertible)

  1. Ensure front wheels are straight. Disconnect negative battery cable. Pull horn pad assembly from steering wheel.
  2. Remove contact plate screws. Disconnect wires and remove contact plate. Remove steering wheel retaining nut. Mark steering wheel and shaft for reassembly reference. Using steering wheel puller, remove steering wheel.
