Piston Rings Service

Ensure ring end gap and side clearance are within specification. See PISTONS, PINS & RINGS SPECS TABLE at end of article. Ensure identification marks on piston rings (if equipped) are facing toward top of piston. Position piston rings at designated areas. See Fig 1.
