Removal & Installation (Metro & Tracker)

1. Unplug electrical connector from motor. Remove mounting bolts holding wiper motor support plate to firewall. Remove wiper arm linkage from motor. Remove wiper motor from support plate.
2. When installing motor, connect electrical connector to motor before securing motor support plate to firewall. Turn ignition on, leave engine off. Turn wiper switch to ON position, and then turn switch to OFF position. Ensure wiper motor crank arm is positioned correctly. See Fig 1 . To complete reinstallation, reverse removal procedure.
