Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Coat camshaft and oil seal with engine oil before installing in cylinder head. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS at end of this article.
  2. Adjust valve clearance. See VALVE CLEARANCE ADJUSTMENT in this article. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
