Installation (Metro)

  1. Install hub-to-rotor bolts and tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  at end of article. Install and properly position spacer on hub. See Fig 1. Rotate hub while using a plastic hammer to drive hub in until drive axle protrudes evenly from hub.
  2. Using Wheel Hub Installer (J-34856) and Handle (J-7079-2), drive hub and rotor assembly on drive axle until dimension "A" is reached. See Fig 2.
  3. Install new drive axle nut and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  at end of this article. Stake drive axle nut in place. Install disc pads and caliper. Tighten caliper guide pin bolts to specification.
