Pull up and hold brake pedal. Measure distance between face of brake pedal contact plate and end of stoplight switch threads. Distance should be .02-.04" (.5-1.0 mm). See Fig 1. Adjust stoplight switch if distance is not within specification. Tighten stoplight switch to 10 ft. lbs. (14 N.m).
