Control Rods: Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle, allowing suspension to hang freely. Disconnect brake flexhose from control rod. Scribe location marks on mounting bracket and toe adjustment cam for installation reference.
  2. Remove outer control rod nut. Remove adjustment cam nut and bolt. Lift out control rod. Check control rod bushings for wear.
