Removal & Installation

  1. Remove master cylinder from power brake unit. See MASTER CYLINDER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in this article. Disconnect power brake unit push rod clevis from brake pedal arm.
  2. Disconnect vacuum hose from power brake unit. Remove nuts attaching power brake unit to firewall. Remove power brake unit. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all nuts and bolts to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  at end of article.
