Steering Wheel & Horn Pad: Installation

1. Coat steering wheel slip ring contact surfaces with dielectric grease. Align reference marks made during removal and install steering wheel. Install retaining nut on shaft. Tighten retaining nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
2. Connect horn wires and install contact plate. Ensure wires run through center of plate, not underneath it. Install horn switch/center pad assembly on contact plate. Connect negative battery cable.
