Water Pump: Installation

  1. Install water pump to cylinder block. Install rubber seals between water pump and oil pump and between water pump and cylinder head. Install timing belt tensioner, timing belt and timing belt outer cover.
  2. Install crankshaft pulley, water pump pulley and water pump drive belt. Adjust drive belt. Adjust valve clearance and install rocker arm cover and air cleaner. Fill cooling system and connect negative battery cable.
