Instrument Cluster: Metro

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove steering column trim cover. Lower steering column. Remove instrument panel cluster bezel screws and remove bezel. Remove 2 switches from bezel. Remove instrument cluster attaching screws and remove instrument cluster. See Fig 1 .
  2. Separate electrical connector and speedometer cable. Remove cluster lens and speedometer head assembly. Remove tachometer (if equipped). Remove all bulbs, seat belt buzzer, coolant and fuel gauges. To install instrument cluster, reverse removal procedure.
