Camshaft: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Align mark on crankshaft pulley with ``0'' mark on front cover.
3. Remove valve cover, then loosen camshaft pulley bolts. Use care not to rotate engine when loosening camshaft pulley bolt.
4. Loosen timing belt tensioner, then remove timing belt.
5. Remove rocker arm shafts as previously described.
6. Remove camshaft pulley, then the distributor and camshaft.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Ensure dowel pin is in up position when installing camshaft.
