Disc Brake Rotor & Hub (Metro): Removal

  1. Remove caliper and pads. Remove cotter pin, castle nut and washer from end of drive axle. Measure distance between outside rotor face and outside edge of caliper mounting bracket. See Fig 1.

  2. Record dimension "A" for reassembly. Using slide hammer and adapter, remove wheel hub and rotor as an assembly. Remove rotor retaining bolts from hub and separate hub from rotor. See Fig 2.
