Using an ohmmeter, check sending unit resistance while changing float position. With float in FULL (up) position, resistance should be 1-5 ohms. With float in EMPTY (down) position, resistance should be 103-117 ohms. With float in 1/2 (middle) position, resistance should be 28.5-36.5 ohms.
