Removal and installation
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION:
- Be careful not to damage the parts located under the vehicle (floor under cover, fuel filter, fuel tank and canister) when raising the vehicle using the lift.
(Refer to General Information - "LIFT AND SUPPORT POINTS ")
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Drain the water cooled intercooler coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")
- Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Remove the intercooler outlet hose (A).
Information
- When disconnecting the intercooler hose, pull the quick connector clamp (A) in the direction of the arrow, as shown in the below illustration.
- Remove the RCV hose (A).
- Disconnect the intercooler inlet hose (A).
- Disconnect the EWP water hose (A).
- Disconnect the EWP connector (A).
- Disconnect the RCV solenoid connector (A) and hose (B).
- Remove the water cooled intercooler assembly (A).
- Remove the EWP mounting bracket (A) and then Disconnect the water hose (B).
- Remove the EWP mounting bracket (A).
- Remove the RCV (A).
- Install in the reverse order of removal
