Repair Procedures: Removal

- Remove the fuel pump.
(Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "Low Pressure Fuel Pump ")
- Disconnect the fuel sender connector (A) and fuel pump connector (B).
- Remove the fuel sender (B) after releasing the fixing hooks (A).
- Remove the fuel feed tube quick-connector (B) after releasing the fixing clip (A).
- Remove the head assembly (D) after releasing the fixing clip (C).
- Remove the reservoir cap (B) after releasing the fixing hooks (A).
- Disconnect the ground cable (A).
- Disconnect the fuel pump motor connector (B).
- Release the fixing hooks (A) and then remove fuel pressure regulator (B).
- Remove the clamp (A) and remove the suction port (B).
- Release the fixing hooks and then remove pre-filter (A).
- Remove the fuel pump motor (A) in the direction of an arrow.
