Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
  1. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Floor Console - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")

  2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")

  3. Remove the crash pad side cover [RH].

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "CRASH PAD SIDE COVER ")

  4. Loosen the mounting screw and then remove the crash pad garnish [RH] (A).

  5. Separate the start button connector (A).

  6. Loosen the mounting screws and nuts, remove the glove box housing cover (A).

  7. Separate the glove box lamp connector (A).

  8. Separate the glove box switch connector (A).

  9. To install, reverse removal procedure.

    Information 

    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
    • Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
