Transmission Mounting Bracket
- Remove the engine room rear under cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transmission Assembly - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Install the jack under the transmission to support.NOTE:
- Put the rubber block between the jack and transmission to avoid damaging the transmission.
- Remove the transmission mounting bracket (A).
Tightening torque: Bolt and Nut (B):
2WD (Nut): 29.4 - 34.3 N.m (3.0 - 3.5 kgf.m, 21.7 - 25.3 lb-ft)
AWD (Bolt): 63.7 - 83.4 N.m (6.5 - 8.5 kgf.m, 47.0 - 61.5 lb-ft)
Bolts (C): 58.8 - 73.5 N.m (6.0 - 7.5 kgf.m, 43.4 - 54.2 lb-ft)
NOTE:- Provisionally tighten all the bolts and nuts (B) and bolts (C). Firstly, tighten the bolts and nuts (B) and then bolts (C) to the specified torque in sequence.
- Tighten bolts and nuts (B) and bolts (C) and then install the transmission mount stopper and the crossmember so that all the LH/RH, front/rear 4 gaps are not to become eccentric by more than 4 mm (0.1575 in.)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
