Heated Steering Wheel: Inspection

  1. Measure the resistance of NTC and Heated pad.

    NTC resistance - 10.0 kΩ ± 3% (25°C)

    Heated pad resistance - 1.90Ω ± 0.2Ω (22°C ±1°C)

  2. Measure the temperature.
    1. The temperature of wheel surface must rise from -20°C to 20°C (-3.9°F to 67.9°F) in 6 minutes.
    2. The temperature of wheel surface must reach 38°C (100.3°F) in 25 minutes.
    3. 1 to 8 All measuring points.
