    Information

    • Remove the extruded sealant after assembling the cylinder head.
  2. Install the new LH cylinder head bolts.
    1. Do not apply engine oil to the new cylinder head bolts.
    2. Recheck tightening torque 39.2 N.m (4.0 kgf.m, 28.9 lb.ft) of each LH cylinder head bolt, after installing a new LH cylinder head bolt according to the tightening torque 39.2 N.m (4.0 kgf.m, 28.9 lb.ft) in procedure down below.

Continuously tighten with angle tightening torque (120°) following the procedure in picture below after tightening with angle tightening torque (90°) with no stop following the procedure down below.

      Tightening torque:

      1st step: 37.3 - 41.2 N.m (3.8 - 4.2 kgf.m, 27.5 - 30.4 lb-ft)

      2nd step: 118 ~ 122°

      3rd step: 88 ~ 92°
