RH CVVT & Camshaft

- Remove the RH cylinder head cover.
(Refer to Cylinder Head Assembly - "CYLINDER HEAD COVER ")
- Remove the RH timing chain.
(Refer to Timing System - "TIMING CHAIN ")
- Remove the RH intake CVVT assembly (A) and exhaust CVVT assembly (B).NOTE:
- Use care to keep foreign material out of the intake and exhaust OCV & center bolt.
- When removing the intake and exhaust OCV & Center bolt, hold the camshaft with a wrench to prevent the camshaft from rotating.
- Remove the RH camshaft front bearing cap (A) and camshaft bearing cap (B).
- Remove the high pressure fuel pump.
(Refer to Engine Control/Fuel System - "HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP ")
- Remove the high pressure fuel pump bracket (A).
Tightening torque:
18.6 - 22.6 N.m (1.9 - 2.3 kgf.m, 13.7 - 16.6 lb-ft)
NOTE:- Always use new high pressure fuel pump bracket O-ring (A).
- Remove the RH intake camshaft (A) and RH exhaust camshaft (B).
