Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the engine room front under cover.

    (Refer to Engine and Transmission Assembly - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  2. Remove the drive belt.

    (Refer to Drive Belt System - "DRIVE BELT ")

  3. Remove the crankshaft damper pulley (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    117.7 - 127.5 N.m (12.0 - 13.0 kgf.m, 86.8 - 94.0 lb.ft) + (88 - 92°)

    NOTE:
    • After installing the SST (09231-2J210, 09231-P2100, 09231-D2100) on the crankshaft damper pulley, remove the crankshaft damper pulley bolt.
      • Assemble the SST (09231-D2100) between the SST (09231-2J210) and SST (09231-P2100).

      • Fix the SST (09231-2J210) to the vehicle frame or the front crossmember.

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
