Removal And Installation

- Remove the LH and RH air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Air conditioner refrigerant is recovered by recovery/regeneration/charger.
(Refer to Heating, Ventilation And Air Conditioning - "REFRIGERANT RECOVERY/RECYCLING/CHARGING/VACUUM ")
- Drain the engine coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")
- Drain the engine coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "WATER COOLED INTERCOOLER COOLANT ")
- Remove the active air flap (AAF).
(Refer to Cooling System - "ACTIVE AIR FLAP (AAF) ")
- Remove the radiator lower air guard (A).
Tightening torque:
7.8 - 11.8 Nm (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)
- Remove the front bumper beam.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "FRONT BUMPER BEAM ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the radiator side air guard (A).

- Disconnect the radiator lower hose (A).
- Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A) and degassing hose (B) from radiator.
- Disconnect the water hose (A)
- Disconnect the water cooled intercooler radiator upper hose (A)
- Disconnect the water cooled intercooler radiator lower hose (A)
- Loosen the water pipe mounting bolt and remove the water pipe (A) from cooling fan.
- Disconnect the water cooled intercooler radiator over flow hose (A)
- Disconnect the cooling fan connector (A)
- Loosen the A/C pipe mounting bolts (A) and then space the refrigerant line (B).
- Remove the radiator upper mounting bracket (A).
Tightening torque:
7.8 - 11.8 Nm (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)

- Remove the condensor, water cooled intercooler radiator, radiator, cooling fan assembly (A) from the vehicle.
- Remove the cooling fan (A) from engine radiator.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
