Parking Switch: Removal

- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the rear propeller shaft.
(Refer to Driveshaft and Axle - "REAR PROPELLER SHAFT ")
- Loosen the bolts (A) and nuts (B) and then removing the transmission bracket (C).NOTE: support the transmission solenoid valve body cover using a jack (A).
- Disconnect the parking switch connector (A).
- Loosen the fastener and then separate the parking release cable (A).
- Loosen the nut (A) and the bolts (B) and then removing the parking switch.
