Removal And Installation

- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Open the fuel filler door.
- Disconnect the fuel filler cap (A).
- Remove the rear wheel guard [LH].
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exteriror) - "REAR WHEEL GUARD ")
- Disconnect the fuel filler hose (A).
- Disconnect the vapor hose quick-connector (A).
- Disconnect the vent hose quick-connector (A).
- Disconnect the vapor hose quick-connector (B).
- Remove the filler-neck assembly, after removing the bracket mounting nuts (A).
Tightening torque:
9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
