Low Pressure Fuel Line [Low delivery pipe ↔ Fuel tank]
- Release the residual pressure in fuel line.
Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")
- Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the engine cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE COVER ")
- Disconnect the fuel feed quick-connector (A).NOTE:
- Open the clamp cover (A) before disconnect the quick connector. (If the clip is applied)
- Disconnect the vapor quick-connector (A) from the purge control solenoid valve.
- Open the vapor tube and fuel feed line fixing clip (A) to using driver.
- Lift the vehicle.
- Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Remove the fuel tank.
Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "FUEL TANK ")
- Disconnect the vapor quick-connector (A).
- Remove the LH floor under cover (A).
Tightening torque:
7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)
- Remove the fuel line protector (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.
Tightening torque:
3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.ft)
- Open the vapor tube and fuel feed line fixing clip (A) to using driver.
- Remove the fuel line.
