Removal And Installation
CAUTION:
* In case of the reinstallation
- In case of the reinstallation
- Check the O-Ring (A-1ea) and O-Ring (B-2ea).
- Apply to grease (Lithium) in the input O-ring (A-1ea) and output O-ring (B-2ea)
- Be careful not to damage the actuator/pressure sensor/extension wire due to impact during assembly or transport.
- Be careful not to have impact on the actuator and pressure sensor by other components during assembly on the vehicle.
- Use caution not to damage the extension wire including being torn at structures.
- Maintain its horizontal position during disassembly/assembly.
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.CAUTION:
- When lifting a vehicle using a lift, be careful not to damage the lower parts of the vehicle (floor under cover, fuel filter, fuel tank, canister).

- When lifting a vehicle using a lift, be careful not to damage the lower parts of the vehicle (floor under cover, fuel filter, fuel tank, canister).
- Loosen the rear wheel nuts slightly.
Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.
- Remove the rear wheel and tire.
(Refer to Suspension System - "WHEEL ")
- Remove the passenger side rear drive shaft.
(Refer to Driveshaft and axle - "REAR DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY ")
- Disconnect the oil pressure sensor connector (A) and oil temperature sensor connector (B).
- Disconnect the oil hydraulic motor connector (A).
- Remove the fixed clip (A).NOTE:
- When the fixing clip is forcibly removed, the screw part is damaged, so replace it with a new one.
- Remove the electronic limited slip differential (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.
Tightening torque:
58.9 - 64.7 N.m (5.8 - 6.6 kgf.m, 42.0 - 47.7 lb-ft)
- To install, reverse the removal procedures.CAUTION:
- Pay attention to the direction of the connector during assembly.
- Pay attention so that the extension wire is not twisted.
- Remove the any foreign matter on the connector pin of the extension wire.
