[Mando 18 inch]

  1. Disconnect the (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front wheel & tire.

    (Refer to Suspension System - "WHEEL ")

  3. Remove the guide rod bolt and then pivot the caliper body (A) up out of the way.

    Tightening torque: 

    37.2 - 41.1 N.m (3.8 - 4.2 kgf.m, 27.4 - 30.3 lb-ft)

  4. Remove the brake pad (A).

  5. Remove the brake pad liner (A).

  6. Remove the caliper carrier (A) by removing the caliper mounting bolts.

    Tightening torque: 

    98.1 - 117.7 N.m (10.0 - 12.0 kgf.m, 72.3 - 86.8 lb-ft)

    NOTE:
    • Caliper carrier mounting bolts must use a new one.

  7. Remove the front brake disc (A) by loosening the screws.

    Tightening torque: 

    4.9 - 5.8 N.m (0.5 - 0.6 kgf.m, 3.6 - 4.3 lb-ft)
