Front Seat Shield Outer Cover: Replacement
CAUTION:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
- Remove the front seat assembly.
Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
- Loosen the mounting screws and remove the front seat shield front cover (A).NOTE:
- Take care not to damage the locking pin (B) and remove it.
- Remove the front seat outer shield cover.
- Using a screwdriver or remover and remove the rear hook (1).
- Remove the anchor pretensioner side hook (2) using a screwdriver or remover.
- Lift the switch side hook (3) upward and remove it.
- After removing the front (4) screw, remove the front seat outer shield cover (A).
NOTE:- Front Seat Outer Shield When removing the cover, pay attention to the removal order and direction.
- Be careful not to damage the hooks and brackets.
- Disconnect the front seat power switch connector (A).
- To install, reverse removal procedure.
NOTE:
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
