Rear Spoiler: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
  1. Remove the Liftgate upper trim.

    (Refer to Liftgate - "LIFTGATE TRIM ")

  2. Disconnect the anti-pinch strip connector (A).

  3. Remove the anti-pinch strip (A).

    Information

  4. Remove the plug hole (A).

  5. Disconnect the rear spoiler connector (A) and washer nozzle (B).

  6. Loosen the mounting nuts, remove the rear spoiler (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    5.9 - 8.8 N.m (0.6 - 0.9 kgf.m, 4.3 - 6.5 lb-ft)

  7. To install, reverse removal procedure.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector is connected properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
