Rear Spoiler: Replacement
CAUTION:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
- Remove the Liftgate upper trim.
(Refer to Liftgate - "LIFTGATE TRIM ")
- Disconnect the anti-pinch strip connector (A).
- Remove the anti-pinch strip (A).
Information
- Remove the plug hole (A).
- Disconnect the rear spoiler connector (A) and washer nozzle (B).
- Loosen the mounting nuts, remove the rear spoiler (A).
Tightening torque:
5.9 - 8.8 N.m (0.6 - 0.9 kgf.m, 4.3 - 6.5 lb-ft)
- To install, reverse removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
