Rear Bumper Beam Assembly: Replacement
CAUTION:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- Take care not to bend or scratch the bumper cover and panels.
- Remove the rear bumper assembly.
Refer to Rear Bumper - "REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY ")
- Detach the wiring (A) mounted on the rear bumper and rear bumper beam assembly.
- Loosen the mounting clips, remove the rear bumper beam assembly (A).
- To install, reverse removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
