DTC Description

B16F187 is set when CAN message, to control IFS, has an error.

BCM CAN signal delivers the information to decide who to control light ON/OFF of lam high beam, whether BCM or head lamp module (ILCU). FR_CMR (front camera) signal delivers the location of preceding and opposite lane vehicle to control IFS blind zone.

* What is blind zone? IFS function is to light OFF some part of high beam pattern, and call the light OFF area as the blind zone.

* What is preceding vehicle/vehicle on the opposite lane?

→ Preceding Vehicle: Driving the same direction as the driver and ahead of driver's vehicle.

→ Vehicle on the opposite lane: Driving the opposite direction as the driver and ahead of driver's vehicle.
