Repair Procedures: Replacement

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the crankshaft damper pulley.

    (Refer to Drive Belt System - "CRANKSHAFT DAMPER PULLEY ")

  2. Remove the front oil seal (A).

  3. Install the new front oil seal.
    1. Apply engine oil on the edge of new oil seal.
      NOTE:
      • Remove any foreign substances from the lip portion of the oil seal.
    2. Use SST (09214-L1100, 09231-H1100) and a rubber mallet to lightly tap and install the new front oil seal (A).

    NOTE:
    • Do not reuse the front oil seal.
