Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:

Information

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

Lower the steering wheel.
Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")
After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center panel [LH] (A).

After loosening the mounting screws, remove the garnish panel [LH] (A).

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).

Remove the heater & A/C control Unit (DATC).
(Refer to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning - "HEATER AND A-C CONTROL UNIT (DATC)
After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center fascia panel (A).

Disconnect the connector (A).

Disconnect the start button connector (A).

After loosening the mounting screws, remove the cluster fascia panel (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
