Control circuit short to battery check

- Turn "OFF" the ignition.
- Disconnect the thermostat and ECM connector.
- Turn "ON" the ignition.
- Measure the voltage between control terminal of thermostat harness and chassis ground.
Specification: 0V
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " as flows.
NO
- Repair open or short in harnesses and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
