Control circuit short to ground check

- Turn "OFF" the ignition.
- Disconnect the thermostat and ECM connectors.
- Measure the resistance between control terminal of thermostat harness and chassis ground.
Specification: Infinite
- Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to next step.
NO
- Repair open or short in harnesses and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
