Oil pressure sensor check

- IG "OFF".
- Connect probe to signal terminal of oil temperature & pressure sensor.
- Start the engine.
- Measure voltage at signal terminal of the oil temperature & pressure sensor with changing RPM.
Specification: Voltage should goes up with engine RPM increased
- Is the measured voltage normal?
YES
- Substitute with a known - good ECM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace ECM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known - good oil pressure sensor and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace oil pressure sensor and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
