DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring sensor signal
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short to ground in harness
  3. Oil pressure sensor
  4. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • No disabling faults present
  • Engine Run-time is longer than 5 seconds
  • Battery voltage is greater than 8V
Threshold Value
  • Sensor's voltage represents short circuit to ground
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • No MIL On (DTC only)
