DTC P050A-00: Cold Start Idle Air Control System Performance: General Description

ETC keeps 1, 450 RPM by retard of ignition timing in order to activate the catalyst converter under the condition that engine off time is over than 8 hour and coolant temperature is lower than 77°F.

If ETC can't keep the RPM as much as target RPM in catalyst heating range, it generates torque by throttle opening so that it keeps target RPM.
