DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the actual engine idle Speed deviation from the target engine speed
  1. Intake system for blockage
  2. Throttle plate for carbon deposits
Enable Conditions
  • Engine Coolant Temperature is greater than 74°C (165.2°F)
  • Time elapsed after engine start is more than 5 seconds [Pedal Value = 0 % and Vehicle Speed = 0 mph]
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Actual engine speed is 100 RPM lower than target engine speed
  • Engine speed is too low
Diagnosis Time
  • 17 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Drive Cycles
