DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • PWM range check
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Faulty ETC Motor
  3. Faulty TPS
Enable Conditions
  • TPS adaptation is finished
  • Battery voltage is greater than 9.9V
  • Ignition switch is "ON" condition
Threshold Value
  • ETC controller output PWM is greater than 95%
  • The controller output PWM exceeds the threshold
Diagnosis Time
  • 2.44 seconds
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Deviation between throttle position and constant set point check
Enable Conditions
  • TPS adaptation is finished
  • Ignition switch is "ON" condition
Threshold Value
  • Difference between actual throttle position and throttle position set point is greater than 3~25 %
  • Deviation between throttle position and set point exceeds the threshold
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.48 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
