DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • O2 sensor characteristic monitoring
  1. Poor connector
  2. Air leak in exhaust system
  3. Defected downstream O2 sensor
  4. Defected Three-way Catalyst Converter
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is at between 1200 RPM and 3520 RPM
  • Engine load is at between 15% and 58%
Threshold Value
  • Lambda shift controller by downstream O2 sensor is lower than -2.5%
Diagnosis Time
  • 15 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
