Short to power check

- IG "OFF". Disconnect FECM, fuel pump connector.
- IG "ON".
- Measure each harnesses' voltage of three phase control circuit (U, V, W) between FECM and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 0V
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Fault is intermittent. go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Go to next procedure.
NO
- Repair short in harness. go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
