Short to ground check

IG "OFF". Disconnect FECM, fuel pump connector.
Measure each harnesses' resistance of three phase control circuit (U, V, W) between FECM and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. infinite
Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "SYSTEM INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair short in harness. go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
