DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the current of fuel pump
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Open or short in three phase control circuit
  3. Blockage of fuel filter
  4. Blockage of fuel line
  5. Fuel pump
  6. Fuel pump control module (FECM)
Enable Conditions
  • Target fuel pressure is between 250 kPa and 600 kPa
  • Engine Running condition
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V
Threshold Value Case 1
  • The current of fuel pump is lower than 0.2A
Case 2
  • The current of fuel pump is higher than 11A
Diagnosis Time Case 1
  • 0.2 seconds
Case 2
  • 2 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • No MIL On (DTC only)
