Resistance check of three phase coil

- IG "OFF". Disconnect fuel pump connector.
- Measure resistance between U and V terminal. (component side)
- Measure resistance between V and W terminal. (component side)
- Measure resistance between W and U terminal. (component side)
Specification: Approx. 0.09 ~ 0.13 Ω
- Is the measured voltage normal?
YES
- Substitute with a known - good fuel filter and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace fuel filter and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- If problem is not fixed with replacing fuel filter, substitute with a known - good FECM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace FECM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known - good fuel pump and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace fuel pump and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
