Short to battery check

- IG "OFF". Disconnect the oil pump solenoid valve connector.
- IG "ON".
- Measure the voltage between control terminal of oil pump solenoid valve harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 3.5V
- Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair short to battery in harness. go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
