DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the voltage of control circuit
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short to battery in control harness
  3. Faulty Oil pump solenoid valve
  4. Faulty ECM
Enable Conditions
  • No disabling faults present
  • Engine Runtime longer than 0.03 sec.
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Voltage represents short to battery
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • No MIL On (DTC only)
