DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the voltage of control circuit
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short to ground in control harness
  3. Open or short to ground in power harness
  4. Faulty Oil pump solenoid valve
  5. Faulty ECM
Enable Conditions
  • No disabling faults present
  • Engine Runtime longer than 0.03 sec.
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Voltage represents short to ground
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • No MIL On (DTC only)
